Hi, I’m Yas a Producer from London.

I love using my storytelling skills, production skills and passion for film and the digital landscape to inspire and entertain audiences. I’ve worked on video production for a wide range of brands across in house content,  branded content and worked agency side.

At the BBC, I produced and presented a short documentary film which reached over 340K and was in the top ten films on the site and was shared across BBC News’ social channels.

I’ve also worked on a Webby Award-winning film about the oceans and learnt my craft shooting and working on a wide range of films for BBC Ideas.

I’ve also worked in social media which has involved creating compelling assets and copy for brands using my knowledge of the social landscape and platforms to target audiences exceeding 2 million. In these roles, I have engaged audiences, managed social accounts, influenced social strategy, led with a results driven approach, made viral memes for award winning TV shows and films, introduced exciting new formats and worked with high profile talent like Ralph Fiennes, Little Simz, Stormzy and Andrew Garfield. I began my career as a full time film programmer in the UK. I used my love of film to introduce audiences of all ages to amazing films with a focus on independent and international films through selecting films for screenings in cinemas and film festivals across the country and hosting events to bring the film community together.
